Foot pedal wheel speed controller showing the removable spring. To maintain a constant speed using the foot pedal, remove the spring. Set the required speed by adjusting the height of the top part of the pedal. When returning to normal operation re-insert the spring.

I’ve had the wheel 10 years and its been great. The original remote foot control fell apart over time and would be improved by being more sturdy particularly the electrical connections in the foot control plug.
